We had our staff take personality tests, and the outcome has been more than beneficial. As an adult, we go to work every day and spend majority of our time with the same group of people. We get to know each other, and think what we know is all there is. We rely on each other and actively pursue growing a team environment daily. But are we missing something about our coworkers? Is there another layer on the onion to pull back that would help build a better relationship? This exercise provided so much useful insight into people that I thought I knew very well, and has helped me adjust my interactions in a way that caters to their needs. We have seen a huge uptick in productivity and great communication come from this. A great exercise that I forsee repeating in the future.
