Mainspring Academy

Mainspring Academy is a private 501(c)(3) special education school in Southside Jacksonville, Florida. Founded in 2015 by parents who were concerned with the scarcity of specialized local programs for their children, the mission at Mainspring is to provide quality, individualized education in a safe learning environment where children with intellectual and developmental differences can thrive. Our organization serves 55+ students, ages 5-22, with intellectual and developmental delays (IDDs), learning and behavior disorders, and other neurological diagnoses.
