With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, we asked some of our team members to share their favorite Thanksgiving tradition! "I've been hosting Thanksgiving for my family and friends for probably 25 years or more. With my family growing, and my door always open to friends, I've had as many as 27 people for this special day. My dining room table only seats 6, so we do our dinners buffet style and everyone just kind of finds a place sit, they eat, chat, watch some football and always have some laughs. One special dish that I didn't like as a child, but I do now, is the traditional sweet potatoes that my Gramma Rhae used to make. I make them every year since I've started doing my Thanksgiving Day dinners! Her secret was putting pineapple juice in the water when she boiled them and adding crushed pineapples before baking them. She would always smash them up just a little and there was plenty of marshmallows and brown sugar and a bit of salt and pepper. Wishing everyone a wonderful Thanksgiving celebration!" - Cathie Felix, Tukwila

"We make whipped yams each year… it's a recipe that has been in my wife's family for generations and it's always one of our family's favorite Thanksgiving sides." - Ed Bradley, Bellevue

With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, we asked some of our team members to share their favorite Thanksgiving tradition! "For something like 40 years my wife Gillian's extended family has spent the Thanksgiving weekend on the southwest Washington coast.? Three and four generations gather for a long weekend of food and fun, walks on the beach and reconnection.? We expect about 30 of us this year for what is the best time of the year for me.? Here, my youngest son Eli and some of the cousins whip something up with grandma for the annual baking contest." - Ben Allen-White, Tukwila

With the Thanksgiving holiday approaching, we asked some of our team members to share their favorite Thanksgiving tradition! "In my family, our Thanksgiving tradition is heading to Newport Oregon the day after Thanksgiving to go crabbing for the long weekend. We always stay on Yaquina bay where we have an amazing view of the harbor. We eat Thanksgiving leftovers and fresh seafood, watch Christmas movies and football, and most importantly go crabbing! It is a great way to get away from the stress and craziness of the busy holiday season, and have some quality family time in a beautiful place." - Kristin Artman, Bend
