Such an honor to be in Lewiston this morning with city officials and others to help announced a $2.5 million Long-term Solutions to Homelessness Grant for Kaydenz Kitchen. In the photo below, MaineHousing's Senior Director of Communications and Government Relations Erik Jorgensen passes the microphone to Kaydenz Kitchen founder, Kevin Boilard. Erik was able to announce the grant during a warming center tour for the community and officials. The grant announced Thursday was one in a package of 22 that were announced for all parts of Maine and are meant to enhance the capacity and capabilities of Maine's homeless response system. These grants were made possible thanks to the support of Governor Janet Mills and the Maine Legislature.
