Congratulations to the Aroostook Area On Aging (AAAA) and Penquis CAP for being awarded grants from the National Aging and Disability Transportation Center! AAAA will develop a plan to address issues like long travel distances and challenging winter conditions, that impact older adults and people with disabilities, including the Houlton Band of Maliseet Indians. Penquis will develop a plan that aims to make it easier for older adults, people with disabilities, and people who need frequent non-emergency medical care with transportation.
