?? Lights, Camera, Action! ?? Last night, the Magnolia Reach Film Festival rolled out the red carpet for our amazing 3rd and 4th-grade movie directors! ??? These young storytellers spent the semester diving into their favorite books ??, then brought them to life on the big screen ??? with incredible movie trailers and posters they created themselves. ?? From page to premiere, their creativity and dedication shined brighter than the spotlight! ?? A standing ovation to these budding filmmakers for their hard work and storytelling magic! ??

????94 high school students were recently named by the College Board's Advanced Placement (AP) Program for their exceptional academic achievements! ???? ?? Nine students earned Commended and Semi-Finalist honors by the National Merit Scholarship Program. ?? The College Board has also recognized 85 students as Scholars. This week the Health Science Department at Magnolia High School was awarded a $20,000 grant from The Tri-County Health Alliance. This money will be used to purchase a state of the art manikin that can be used in the CNA, EKG, and EMT classes offered as part of the pathway. We are so grateful for this award and proud to be part of a CTE program that makes a difference in the community’s lives!

Last week, Nichols Sawmill first graders got a hands-on lesson in democracy, and it was all about FUN! They learned how citizens can make their voices heard by voting, just like adults do! After meeting three fantastic mascot candidates—each with super exciting platforms like extra recess, classroom carnivals, and more—the students stepped into a real voting booth, cast their ballots, and proudly wore their "I Voted" stickers. ???? And the results are in… ?? Tommy the Turtle took the win! ??
