🚨 New bank alert! 🚨 We recently approved a second phase of our Canoe Creek bat conservation bank with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) Pennsylvania field office. Details below: - Service area: State of Pennsylvania - Covered species: Indiana bat, northern long-eared bat, little brown bat and tricolored bat - Credits available immediately: 117.6 for all Covered Species - Highlights of this site include: Permanent protection of 164.7 acres of diversely aged deciduous broadleaf forest habitat, which can be used as summer roosting and foraging habitat and staging/swarming habitat for the Covered Species. This site is also proximate to Canoe Creek Phase I, PA State Game Lands #147, and Canoe Creek State Park, increasing the size of a contiguous block of protected forest. #conservation #batconservation
