At the heart of Magnified Giving's mission is their belief that anyone can be a philanthropist! They believe that philanthropy is using your time, talents, and treasure to serve others, at any age - and we all have something to offer! Magnified Giving's focus is on educating children and teens in philanthropy because we want the youth in our community to see their own potential to bring about positive change in the world around them. When we plant this idea early on and teach them how to use their time, talents, and treasure, the youngest among us can spend the rest of their lives being change-makers! celebrating the heart of youth philanthropy! ?? On Tuesday night, we hosted our first-ever Facilitator Appreciation Dinner, bringing together 44 incredible educators and program leaders who make our Youth Philanthropy Program possible. These changemakers guide students through service, empathy, and giving, and we are SO grateful for them! Thanks to the generosity of the Mayerson Foundation, we got to treat our facilitators to a beautiful evening filled with great food, thoughtful gifts, and even better company. One facilitator shared: ?? “I felt spoiled by the whole thing! 30 BREAST CANCER SURVIVORS TOOK AN EVENING URBAN HIKE with Move Beyond Surviving MONDAY ON THE WASSON WAY TRAIL IN CINCINNATI. Prior to the hike, Mike Butcher led a short Pilates class. After the hike, Survivors enjoyed dinner and conversation at Dana Gardens. Thank you, Lakota East High School students, who selected Move Beyond Surviving as the recipient of a Magnified Giving grant making the entire night possible!
