His discussion centered around the magic of his business, life, and the ways he helps communities in the inner city. Thank you to Peter H. The summit brought together power players from all over the world including owners of sports teams, companies that own media rights, entrepreneurs, and investors, presidents and diplomats from different countries. The remarkable group of speakers and attendees included former President Barack Obama; former Prime Minister of the UK Tony Blair; Red Bird Capital Founder Gerry Cardinale; CEO of Endeavor and Hollywood Power Broker Ari Emmanuel; NBA Deputy Commissioner Mark A. Tatum; Joseph C. Tsai, Co-Founder of Alibaba Group and Owner of the NBA Brooklyn Nets and the newly crowned WNBA Champion New York Liberty; Minority Owner of the Denver Broncos and Co-CEO of Ariel Investments, Mellody Hobson, as well as Co-Founder of RocNation Jay Brown, his Marcypen Capital Partners business partner Robbi Robinson, and President of the Toronto Raptors Masai Ujiri.? ? I had the privilege of speaking to two exceptional audiences this past Friday and this morning in Orlando, Florida, at SYNERGY 2024 for Tax & Accounting Professionals. I discussed the magic of winning to a room full of engaged corporate legal, tax, risk, and trade professionals—whose energy truly made the sessions incredible! Today was special, as I got to share the stage with my great friend, Dream Team teammate, and 3x NBA Champion Larry Bird for our 3rd speaking engagement together post-retirement! We spoke at the Global CEO Summitt in New York on how you can utilize learning about your rivals to beat your competition, both in basketball and in the boardroom. After our session, we were able to catch up with David Letterman, which was a full circle moment from when Larry and I went on his show back in 2012!
