Our team took STEM to the State Capitol! STEM Day showcased all of the amazing opportunities for STEM learning in North Dakota. The Discovery Center shared the magic of the James Webb Space Telescope with a life-sized model of one of its mirror segments!

This past weekend, the Magic City Discovery Center's First LEGO League team, Technic Tide, competed in the Minot Regional Qualifier, organized by Full STEAM Ahead. The team presented their research on underwater welding and decompression syndrome, shared their robot design, and completed three runs on the course. Since September, they have been diligently working on coding, robot design, and developing attachments to accomplish specific missions. We are proud of their determination, teamwork, and the innovative spirit they brought to the competition. Congratulations to the Technic Tide on a strong showing, and thank you to everyone who supported them along the way!
