After moving into Maggie's Place, a shelter for pregnant and mothering women, participant Megan completed the Entryway program in 90 days — including 40 hours of online training, earning certifications in fair housing and sales through Grace Hill, and completing Uplevel Leasing with Savvy Leasing.?? After her daughter turned 9 months old, Megan began aggressively applying for leasing roles, eventually landing a position as a Leasing Agent for Avenue5 Residential! ???? Thanks to the support from Entryway Arizona and furnishings provided by CORT, Megan and her daughter now have a beautiful, fully furnished home. They are also deeply grateful to NexMetro Communities for supporting her family to start this new chapter of their lives with stability and hope.?? Thank you to those who support our mission. ?? As many of you know, community health is a huge passion of mine, and I'm incredibly proud of the work the Dr. Alex Kim Foundation is doing. For 25 years we have been part of the journeys of our moms and their families. Our community has grown so much in the 25 years since we opened and we are grateful to be part of the lives of so many people. Here's to #25yearsoflove ??

Happy anniversary to our VP of Finance Joyce Clapp! This is her third year with Maggie's Place, thanks to her and our finance team we are able to continue to fund our mission!

Looking back on our memories of the past 25 years we are grateful to have become the community we are today to remind our moms they are not alone. Once a Maggie's Place mom, always a Maggie's Place mom. ??

Thank you to the wonderful people at Hands on Greater Phoenix and Global Roofing Group for coming yesterday to our Family Success Center and working on a variety of projects. The Family Success Center works as a hub for our programming, services for our current and alumni moms and where we host events that bring our community together. ? 2024 was an incredible year of giving back at Encore! From community events to impactful donations, we’re proud of the difference we made together: ? Partnered with CareFund at their Buckle, Boots, and Bling event ? Volunteered with Feed My Starving Children where 90+ employees helped feed 100 kids for a full year ? Supported Feet and Seats Sock drive ? Donated generously to HomeAid Phoenix, celebrating with them in February and December ? Contributed to Lennar Homes diaper drive ? Supported Maggie's Place by providing flooring products and labor for their 2024 renovation ? Joined Make-A-Wish America at their Rock the Rooftop event ? Partnered with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital - ALSAC and Woodside Homes donating 100% of labor for cabinets and flooring installation ? Congratulations to Jeff Fuentebella for celebrating 19 years with Maggie's Place and LaShay Whipple for celebrating 3 years with Maggie's Place! It's great to have their dedication in our midst as they continuously give us their best to help our community.
