On the last Monday of #BlackHistoryMonth, we honor Guion 'Guy' Bluford, the first African American to travel to space. A decorated Vietnam War pilot, Bluford joined NASA in 1979 and made his first space flight on the Challenger in 1983. After a brief hiatus, he returned to complete additional missions before retiring in 1993. #Aviation #NASA #MagellanAviationGroup
