???????? ?????????????????? ??????’?? ???????? ???? ???????? ?????????? ??????????. One of the biggest blind spots in product and marketing teams is assuming they control how buyers think about their problem. We tell ourselves and others within the org: ? “This is how they should perceive our solution.” ? “This is how they should buy.” ? “This is the logical next step.” But reality is very different: buyers don’t operate on our narrative. They have their own agency. This is one of the reasons I've been so bullish on using tools like call recordings, win/loss interviews, and direct customer conversations to systemize this reality check. These tools pull us out of internal assumptions and drop us into the actual market - where our customers live - so we can understand: ? How do they describe their problem? ? What triggers them to look for a solution? ? What language do they use? (Spoiler: probably not your website copy) Our job isn’t to force buyers into our framework. It’s to meet them where they are and help them. We must align with their reality, and we'll close more deals—without friction. I love the proliferation of call-recording tools to make this easier. #marketing #productmarketing #b2b #sales #AI

"Vibe coding" might be the most important skill to acquire in 2025! "Vibe coding" was coined by Andrej Karpathy and (aspirationally) refers to a collaborative, user-centric approach to software development that prioritizes rapid iteration alongside technical execution. In practice, "vibe coding" refers to opening Cursor prompting for some software and talking the "machine" into building what you were looking for. It's the epitome of "natural language is the new UX". Here are 3 real-life examples of "vibe coding" and how they help unlock massive productivity gains: 1. ?????????? ??????????, ?????????? ?????????????? Slack lets non-engineers address user pain points and align better with engineers. 2. ???????????????? ?????????????? = ?????????????????? ?????????????? At HubSpot, customer success teams use basic SQL to analyze user behavior, driving features that cut churn. Forrester notes these cross-functional teams resolve issues 2x faster. 3. ???????????????????? & ???????????????? At Notion (& MadKudu), leadership participates in hackathons to understand technical trade-offs, fostering smarter resource allocation. Ultimately, Vibe coding is not about writing code. ???????? ???????????? ???? ?????????? ?????????????? ???????????????? faster and more easily, and that's why I expect vibe coding to be a huge deal moving forward. #ai #startup #vibecoding ?

If this is you, just know that you're not alone! Lately, I've been talking to more AEs who own a pipe gen number, and I am shocked to see that so many don't have any real tooling to help them prioritize accounts. As a result, their process essentially comes down to: "I go down the list from this Salesforce report and randomly pick accounts from my book" Thankfully there is a better way! What a treat it was to be able to join Avalara's RevKO this week! Thank you for hosting us, it was a pleasure meeting with so many awesome Avalarians. AI is coming and will make it easier to build anything but knowing what to build will remain something that originates in genuine, in-person conversations. Specials thanks to Jonathan Parramore Kael Kelly Brendan Peregrine Charles Hawkins for making this possible. For a few days, I too "bled orange".

?????? ???? ?????????? ?????? ?????? ???? "???? ????????"? It feels like every week, the world shifts beneath our feet. Yesterday, the Nasdaq 100 lost $1 trillion in value as a reaction to Deepseek’s R1 model announcement. It’s a stark reminder of the volatility and speed of change we’re all navigating. This moment feels eerily reminiscent of the now-famous Google memo from two years ago: "We have no moat." If foundational AI leaders like Google and OpenAI see their competitive edges eroding, what does that mean for the rest of us? And it’s not just AI. Look at HubSpot’s recent SEO collapse. Their dominance in inbound marketing took a massive hit, driven by shifts in search algorithms and distribution channels. ????’?? ?? ???????????????? ???????????? ???????? ?????? ???????????????????? ?????? ?????????????????? ???? ?????????????????? ????????’?? ?????????? ?????? ?????? ???????????????? ???? ??????????. The Reckoning for Leaders Last year, large companies abandoned annual planning, calling it meaningless in the face of rapid change. They weren’t wrong. The pace of innovation and disruption demands more flexibility, adaptability, and willingness to question the status quo. This isn’t business as usual anymore. As leaders we need to: ? ???????????????? ?????? ????????: What makes us resilient? Our competitive edge may not be as durable as hoped—it’s time to redefine what sets us apart. ? ?????????????? ????????????????????????: Rigid strategies can’t survive in an environment where tomorrow’s AI model or platform change might reshape our industry. I'm curious to see how VCs and boards will learn to adapt here... ? ???????????? ???? ????????????????????: Diversify growth channels, reexamine tech stack, and empower teams to innovate. We’re entering an era where flexibility is the only true moat. Whether it’s rethinking how we compete in AI, adjusting to SEO algorithm changes, or preparing for the next technological upheaval, one thing is clear: standing still is not an option, not even for NVidia. #AI #SEO #BusinessStrategy #Adaptability #entrepreneurship ?
