The Madison Consulting Club is excited to host our final external event of the semester, “A Presentation on DEI in Consulting” tomorrow, November 19th at 7PM in the Hartman Hall Forum. Four of our organizations leaders, Elodie Decker, Sadaf Saleh, Elissa Anderson, and Dylan Feldman will discuss the growth and importance of DEI efforts in the consulting industry. All JMU students are invited to attend, and there is no required dress code for the event.

Our first Senior Highlight of the year is Kevin Scanlon! Kevin is a co-founder and was the first President of the Madison Consulting Club, driving the organizations rapid growth, building key partnerships, and supporting all areas of the organization. Now, Kevin is serving as a Project Manager with the Montpelier Collective, focused on driving support of JMU student athletes. We thank Kevin for his contributions and efforts in launching the Madison Consulting Club! Upon his graduation in December, Kevin will be joining EY in their Financial Business Consulting practice in Northern Virginia.

We’re excited to recognize Andrew Bray as our Consultant Highlight this week! Andrew joined us last spring and quickly made his mark by excelling in the Analyst Program, and was selected as Co-MVP of the Analyst Internal Case Competition last semester. This semester, Andrew is one of two MCC members completing an internship this semester with our partner, the Shenandoah Valley Small Business Development Center, as a Director Assistant Intern.

This past Tuesday, we had the privilege of hosting four inspiring women at our Women in Consulting event, in collaboration with JMU’s Women in Business organization! Attendees gained valuable insights into the experiences, challenges, and triumphs of being a woman in the consulting industry.
