With over 25 years of experience in social work, child welfare, and mentorship, Kerri has dedicated her life to advocating for young people—especially those aging out of foster care. From serving as a case manager and child protection investigator to developing programs that equip young adults with the skills and confidence to thrive, Kerri’s heart is in every step of this mission. For her, this work is deeply personal. She and her husband raised her niece after she was removed from her mother’s care, giving her firsthand insight into the challenges foster youth face. She knows the gaps, the struggles, and—most importantly—the power of having someone believe in you. And now, at Madi’s Movement, she is doing just that—continuing Madi’s vision, ensuring that every young adult has the support they need to build a strong and independent future.
