HAVE A MADER CHRISTMAS ... Barbara and (Mader Safety Director) Timothy Bernardi made their annual journey down to Disney Springs to play Santa for Mader Southeast's annual toy drive. Every year our company purchases toys to be distributed to multiple locations where toys are being collected for Central Florida children. Among the local efforts team Mader supports are ABC of Central Florida and the Orlando Children's Safety Village. Why do we make this effort? Because "this is the (Mader) way". HURRICANE RECOVERY ASSISTANCE ... 'The Helping Hands' program brings together members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and their neighbors to engage in community service. These volunteers in their trademark yellow shirts help people whose lives have been affected by natural disasters and other emergencies. The church provides hope and help to those in need after a natural disaster like recently we faced in Florida with Hurricane Helene and Milton. In addition to our efforts, Helping Hands efforts were supported through donations from Mader Southeast. “The Helping Hands program reflects the desire of Latter-day Saints to follow the example of Jesus Christ by serving others”. THE HEART OF THE MATTER ... Mader Southeast field leaders came together at the Orlando Marriott Embassy Suites for a day of training. The Mader University Training Center is undergoing improvements. In the meantime a class was held covering CPR/AED and basic first aid, as well as a fall protection safety review.

EXCELLENCE AT SAFETY DAY ... The ACFS annual Safety Day event was exceptional. At its foundation, Safety Day has created opportunities for members of the Central Florida occupational safety community to connect and reconnect with colleagues. Speaking personally, one of the day's highpoints was the opportunity to recognize two of the region's safety leaders. An extension of Mader Southeast's 'Mader University' training program is the recently developed 'Central Florida Construction Safety Hall of Fame'. A concept created by Mader Safety Director Timothy Bernardi and Mader Senior Safety Manager Brady Proctor, the hall of fame endeavors to recognize individuals who have distinguished themselves as innovators committed to promoting worker safety. Brady and Timothy decided to launch the program at Safety Day, inducting its inaugural class. The selected honorees Rob Kershner and Debbie Rodriguez. As the proprietor of Southern Safety Supply, Rob provided a solution-oriented resource for his clients -- helping customers manage on site challenges in hazard management. As the owner of Competitive Edge Partners & Consulting, LLC, and the founder of iBuild Central Florida, Debbie is moving toward a legacy of creating careers, introducing the next generation of trade workers to the construction industry. As her business and community commitments have expanded, she has advocated best practices that keep workers safe. MADER PLAYS IT SAFE ... Drop by and visit the Mader Southeast team at the ACFS annual Safety Day event. Today's program takes place at the Rosen Plaza Reaort (9700 International Drive in Orlando). Safety Day is Central Florida's premier occupational safety event. Mader Safety Director Timothy Bernardi , Site Safety Manager Cathy Banuchi, Human Resources Manager and Senior Safety Manager Brady Proctor are all on hand to connect with the attendees. BITTER SWEET & SAFE ... Mader's safety team dropped in for one last walk around the Southern Safety & Supply showroom located on Taft-Vineland in Orlando. The Southern Safety family, led by the legendary Rob Kershner, have been providing exceptional service and quality safety equipment to Central Florida's businesses for decades. The company has joined forces with Colony -- moving its staff and operations to a new location. Mader Southeast has been a loyal customer of Southern Safety for more than a decade. Senior Safety Manager Brady Proctor, Site Safety Manager Cathy "Cat "Bauchi and Safety Director Timothy Bernardi took the time to drop by, take a few photos and give Rob a pat on the back -- wishing him well as he coasts toward retirement. Mark and Armando (who is the Vice Chair of AIA Allied) engaged with attendees -- discussing Mader Southeast's Building Information and Virtual Design Construction (Mader Design Assist) services. Well done Armando and Mark.

On September 11th, Mader Southeast headed up to Gator Country for the University of Florida's Construction Career Expo. Senior Project Manager Jeff henderson, BIM/VDC Manager O. Armando Guerra , CM-BIM, Human Resources Manager Adien Diaz Saint Hilaire and Safety Director Timothy Bernardi took a ride up I-75 and engaged with the future leaders of Florida construction.
