IT'S THE CLIMB ... Putting one foot (painfully) in front of the other Mader Southeast team members Carmen Rodriguez, Christian Goldman, Carey Pisz and yours truly participated in the American Lung Association's 'Fight for Air Climb' event in Orlando. We sucked it up and marched 25-stories up the City National Bank building. Following our leader -- Orlando LEGEND Heather Earl, CSP, CPEA, SMS, STS -- we got to the top and raised more than $2500 for a worthy cause.

MADER CARES: HABITAT FOR HUMANITY ... Mader Southeast has a history of stepping up on behalf of community efforts. Whether it is our support for organizations like Dave's House or Children's Safety Village of Central Florida, Mader has never hesitated to provide money or manhours in support of a good cause. This week, our field team joined with PCL Construction to construct a new home for Habitat for Humanity Greater Orlando & Osceola County. Led by Senior Project Manager Kyle Reed, Mader's effort provided a new home for a family in need. Well done Kyle, Ezzer Flores, Luis Navarro, Mike Garcia and the rest of Team Mader!

MADER, ABC & THE ASSP ... Mader Southeast was proud to sponsor the first meeting of the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) which was held on Monday, January 6th at the offices of the ABC of Central Florida. The luncheon enjoyed a great turnout and featured an exceptional presentation by attorney Phillip Russell -- who made an assessment of the way OSHA will change with the advent of the incoming administration. Mader Safety Director Timothy Bernardi and Senior Safety Manager Brady Proctor were both in attendance along with a list and a list of guests who enjoyed the opportunity to participate and learn a little more about the ASSP. Thank you Brian Oberle, M.S., CSP, CRIS, SMS, Kelton Oberle, CSP, CHST, Danny Alvarado, Sam Ruggiero, CSP, CRIS, Jennifer Rodriguez and Matt Law, DrPH, CSP, REHS for attending as Mader's guests. Mader Southeast Safety Director Timothy Bernardi and Barton Malow Safety Manager Kelton Oberle, CSP, CHST are combining forces to head-up the chapter's 2025 Safety Council. HAVE A MADER CHRISTMAS ... Barbara and (Mader Safety Director) Timothy Bernardi made their annual journey down to Disney Springs to play Santa for Mader Southeast's annual toy drive. Every year our company purchases toys to be distributed to multiple locations where toys are being collected for Central Florida children. Among the local efforts team Mader supports are ABC of Central Florida and the Orlando Children's Safety Village. Why do we make this effort? Because "this is the (Mader) way". See what we did there?
