Monday afternoon all Madelia Health caregivers, community leaders and the local media were invited to participate in a lunch celebration for a "secret announcement." With the confetti flying, CEO David Walz announced that Madelia Health has been recognized as a Top Work Place 2024 by the Star Tribune! What makes this award particularly meaningful is that it is solely based on employee feedback gathered through our employee survey that was administered a few months ago. Only select Minnesota companies made this year’s list, so we are excited to share this great accomplishment! The fact that our caregivers have expressed such high satisfaction underscores the supportive and fulfilling environment we strive to create. Madelia Health, formerly Madelia Community Hospital & Clinic, is an independent, nonprofit facility staffed by a team of medical professionals that are committed to providing health care of the highest standards to patients in the Madelia, Lake Crystal, Truman and St. James areas. As a 25-bed acute care hospital, we offer all of the primary health services: Laboratory, Radiology, Mobile X-ray, CT, 3D Mammograms, Physical Therapy, Home Care, Emergency Room/Urgent Care, Retail Pharmacy, Ambulance Services and Surgical Care. Our medical clinics also provide care for patients in all the seasons of their life. Over the years, we have proactively responded to the changing demands within the health care industry, which has ensured our ability to deliver up-to-date medical services, purchase advanced medical equipment, and provide complete and compassionate care to all who enter our facility.
