Update: After having an influx of 500+ users in 7 days at the end of April, we took a deeper look into how we wanted to continue our building process.
First, we took a gut check to see if we were willing to put our careers on the line, decline job offers, and pursue Madder full-time. The answer was a definitive yes!
Second, we needed to figure out what to build next. We elected to almost entirely scrap our original product that had garnered over 1100 users and rebuild a more robust platform built to scale. We invested in creating a more legitimate product that no longer feels like an MVP. The last month has not been glamorous, but its been crucial in the long-term vision of our success.
User acq has been on the back-burner, but we have just launched Madder V2 with a whole new look and feel, built to scale. We are buttoning down the hatches for 2 more weeks to ensure game developers can integrate their games without friction. After June 15th, we are on to shinier tasks and building up metrics. Thank you to everyone who has helped us get to this point and we are just getting started. Thank you Chris Crittenden, Timothy Luebke, Charles Ju, Scott Evanson, Adam Shumway, Patrick Elzinga, and many others.
