Be Great, Not Late. At MADabolic, we lock our doors when class starts—yes, really. Why? Because for the high achievers who train with us,?strength, structure, and accountability?aren’t just words; they’re non-negotiables. Each class begins on time, without exception. Our trainers dedicate every second to guiding you through a meticulously designed workout. This isn’t about being strict for its own sake. It’s about showing respect—to our trainers, our training floor, and to each of you who show up ready to dedicate 50 minutes of your day to getting stronger. When we lock those doors, it’s a promise: you’re here for a workout free from distractions. Your trainer’s focus is on you and the other clients in the room. Each cue is precise, each interval counts, and we end exactly on time. We're here to make you strong and respect your schedule while we do it - becuase we imagine you have other things to get done in your day, too. Be Great, Not Late!

A great listen from co-founder Brandon Cullen in his recent conversation with Rob Finkelstein on the Athletes to Entrepreneurs: The Alumni Journey Podcast as they discuss the side of sports that doesn't get as much attention: what happens when the game ends, covering topics like how challenging the identity shift can be for athletes, the gap in support systems, and why it’s crucial to build a network. Brandon's own path post-athletics led to his founding MADabolic, so perhaps it's no surprise we believe athletes are uniquely equipped for entrepreneurship and franchising. I recently sat down with Rob Finkelstein on his podcast Athletes to Entrepreneurs: The Alumni Journey Podcast to talk about the side of sports that doesn't get as much attention: what happens when the game ends. We dug into some pretty raw topics—like how challenging the identity shift can be for athletes, the gap in support systems, and why it’s crucial to start building a network early on. I shared my own path from the athletic world to co-founding MADabolic and why I believe athletes are uniquely equipped for entrepreneurship and franchising. We also covered why community and connection are vital for athletes in transition and offered a fresh perspective on sustainable fitness for aging athletes. It’s a conversation about resilience and leveraging the skills we develop as athletes to thrive beyond the rink (and/or field). One of the most critical partnerships we've formed in recent years is moving to a custom racking system with BeaverFit North America. The problem: rising commercial real estate costs. The solution: Buy back square footage with more efficient racking systems. It was a challenge that BeaverFit was up for and led to the design of our highly space-efficient BeaverFit x MADabolic units, now allowing us to look at smaller footprints for new units. https://lnkd.in/eCgjiV49

At MADabolic, every detail in our studios speaks to our commitment to the brand. No matter where you are, you’ll see the same high-caliber training program, equipment, and dedication to 1:1 coaching in a group setting. But we’re equally passionate about creating spaces that reflect the unique personality of each community we call "home." One way we bring local flavor to life is through our graffiti walls—a collaboration between our corporate team, the local franchise owner, and a graffiti artist who knows the community’s pulse. These walls carry our core themes while representing the community’s spirit and the owner’s connection to it. Check out the video to see how our brand identity and local flavor come together across our MADabolic locations nationwide.

WTF Gym Talk (Stuart Brauer) said it best: “to sustain growth, you need to be above average with recruiting and managing people.” Check out this brief segment of his presentation to our owners and managers at our recent franchise conference -
Gym owners who have been made it through the infancy and sophistication phase of their business know that in order to sustain growth, you need to be above average with recruiting and managing people. Here's a clip on that topic from my presentation at the 2024 MADabolic Franchise Conference @madabolic. Catch the full video on YouTube or Spotify.

Celebrating a client win out of MADabolic Scott’s Valley today. Cheers to Jason Weeman and franchise owner Peter Malek! Looking to build sustainable habits and gain strength? We know a place…
I've always considered myself an athlete but as I've aged it's been harder to connect with that mindset. Franchise owner Peter Malek and MADabolic have created a model that has helped me tap into that mindset again. It has not only had an impact on my physical strength but has played a significant part in creating the discipline I've needed during my journey of sobriety. Keep an eye on MAD, it's a game changer and hopefully coming to a city near you in the future. ?? #wellness #sobriety #personalgrowth

Some of life’s most common activities rely on proper grip strength, yet it remains a largely under-emphasized focal point in the fitness industry... As with everything we do, we program grip-challenging movements into our workouts with a purpose. Read more in the article below:
