Meet Stephanie Crespo, our MAC Rx Employee Spotlight for January! Stephanie joined our team six years ago to support our operations as a Cash Billing Technician. In her role, she deposits and applies third-party checks and payments, reconciles all aging reports and maintains proper record-keeping for those transactions. When asked about her start in the pharmacy industry, Stephanie shared that she worked at a regional supermarket chain before being transferred to the pharmacy department around 2010. Years later, she joined our team, and her interest in the field only increased as she continued to learn new insights in her role. Stephanie’s favorite part about being part of our MAC Rx team is the strong relationships she has built with her co-workers over the years. Outside work, Stephanie enjoys spending time with her husband and children. She also enjoys puzzles.

Recently, our MAC Rx team shared in the spirit of Valentine’s Day by participating in the Handfuls of Love program, a fun and loving initiative by Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago. This program allows volunteers to bring smiles to patients by sending virtual cards with messages of love and support. Our team created custom valentines through the Handfuls of Love portal and provided staff with supplies to take home to make unique valentines with their families for sending to the hospital. We are incredibly thankful to Lurie Children's for giving the community an opportunity to share love and encouragement with the children and their families. Meet Amy Perez, our December Employee Spotlight for 2025! She Joined our MAC Rx team over a year ago as an Administrative and HR Specialist. In her role, Amy supports our organization’s administrative operations and HR functions, including employee onboarding, benefits administration, policy enforcement, inquiry management, and more. Before joining our team, Amy was the Assistant Director of an Early Childhood Education center. After 12 years of a successful career, she decided to change directions and enter the pharmacy field. Amy shares that her MAC Rx role has provided her with an environment where she's learned new concepts and further developed her skills. She finds her role very fulfilling, as she has grown personally and professionally. When asked about her favorite part of working at MAC Rx, Amy shared our team! She noted our supportive environment, the passion everyone pours into their work, and the core values driving our daily operations. In her spare time, Amy likes to spend time with family and friends, listen to live music, and try new restaurants. She hopes to volunteer more in the new year, particularly at a local animal shelter.
