Survey results show an industry in change, with sharp opinion differences concerning the role of legacy applications in the present technology world. Select Survey Findings: 1. The survey shows a more balanced approach to legacy system handling in 2024, with 43% of organizations planning data migration, 30% choosing archival, and a notable 26% actively seeking expert guidance. 2. There’s a clear trend toward managing smaller, more focused applications, with 38% reporting 11-25 screens, compared to previous years’ preference for larger applications. 3. Organizations display more realistic expectations about modernization timeframes, with 33% planning for 7-12 months and a significant 14% acknowledging projects might take over 25 months.
