An introduction from the founder and CEO of MBH!
What does “PMHNP-BC” actually stand-for, anyway? Glad you asked! I’m a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner. I graduated nursing school in 2010, worked as a BSN RN for 12 years, then attended graduate school at Saint Louis University for three years. I graduated as a nurse practitioner with specialized training in psychiatry in 2021. I passed the ANCC certification exam and began my new role! After working in telepsychiatry clinic (telehealth services for mental health) for over two years, I launched my private telepsychiatry practice - Mace Behavioral Health! I serve clients in Massachusetts - with plans to expand nationwide. In my PMHNP role, I treat mental health disorders with therapy and medications. I’m passionate about psychiatry, and treating my clients in an integrative, empathetic, and inclusive manner. I’m also a professor in a graduate nursing program and an independent preceptor for PMHNP students. That’s all, folks. ??
