All of us at MAC are proud of our motivated team for receiving a 2024 ACEC Oklahoma Engineering Excellence Honor Award for the Oklahoma Military Department’s (OMD) Greenleaf Dam Repairs & Modernization Phase 1 project. ? Phase 1 included the removal of vegetation on the embankment, regrading, and installation of fire-resistant erosion control systems. It also included a renovation of the vehicular access road on top of the embankment, and repairs and upgrades to the nearly 3,000 LF northern road to allow for construction access. ? We appreciate the support of our friends at Flintco, LLC for their support in phase 1, and to Terracon and Underwater Services for their support in the study phase.

The new Oklahoma National Guard Museum’s construction is progressing, and we are thrilled to see this project advance with the Design-Build team Fentress Architects and HENSEL PHELPS. The new 39,375-square-foot building, located at 3301 NE Grand Blvd in Oklahoma City, will provide the museum with the space and tools needed to tell the Oklahoma National Guard’s story. Local and state leaders gathered with Oklahoma Turnpike Authority officials Thursday afternoon to celebrate the milestone of opening the SH-66 Heyburn ramps to I-44/Turner Turnpike for the turnpike system's first new interchange as part of the ACCESS Oklahoma program. The eastbound on- and off-ramps and the westbound off-ramp opened to traffic Thursday afternoon. The westbound on-ramp from SH-66 to Turner Turnpike is expected to open in summer 2025 after completion of ongoing construction in the area. #trucking
