Version 1.2.0 of SupportCompanion is live! this updates has some goodies including, ?? Support for Custom Widgets on the home screen ???? German localization ?? A new suite package for easier deployment ?? New tray icon which is outlined and a template image to automatically change color based on wallpaper An example script for creating custom widgets can be found in the projects repository! SOFA supports MacAdmins by efficiently tracking and surfacing information on updates for macOS and iOS, including software updates, XProtect data files and active CVEs by OS version. Super happy to announce that Support Companion is now in it’s first production release ?? Not only that but with the help of the awesome Mac Admins Foundation and their Mac Admins Open Source program, the application is also signed, notarised and stapled ?? With this release, there is AutoPkg recipes created for both #MSIntune and #Munki so you can keep the app up-to-date automatically in your environment. I have also submitted a profile manifest so you can soon easily create a profile for Support Companion using for example ProfileCreator or iMazing Profile Editor ?? If you haven’t already seen it, you can now also configure your own custom actions to add to the tray menu for quick and easy access. Thanks to the work of Tobias Almén, Mac Admins Open Source is happy to announce SupportCompanion. Support Companion is a macOS helper application for Intune and Munki which is designed to empower end-users by providing them with quick and easy access to crucial information and actions. Some of the notable features include checking application patching progress (Munki and Intune), system health information and helpful user actions such as changing their password, verifying their SSO login status and gathering logs.
