It may feel like a few milliseconds isn’t a big deal, but it’s what it means for shifting forces and performance that makes all the difference in the world. MAC Valves Inc. utilizes a balanced design that has equal surface areas exposed to pressure; this equalizes the forces exerted on either side of the spool- coupled with their proprietary pilot and coil technology it means: A) basically immune to fluctuations in performance due to changing pressure and b) it will shift through just about anything. Not only that, it’s manufactured in Michigan which means you don’t have to worry about paying for tarriffs. Specifically, the valve in question is modified to excel in transportation applications- including a wide temp nitrile poppet, viton spool, stainless fasteners, IP65 rated coil, and a heavy duty coil on the end of the spool so that the valve will never fail open. MAC MIO-LINK application of the week. My customer required a couple of valve manifolds for a test station they were developing. Requirements: 🗒️ 1. 16 valves consolidated within a manifold. 2. IO Link 3. 2-way function 4. Supply eight isolated input supply pressures. 5. Isolate the common inlets/exhaust paths every two stations. Essentially, making eight(two station) manifolds slices. All controlled via single Class B IO Link module. Ya we can do that 😎 This circuit could have been accomplished with many external push-to-connect fittings & tubing. Also would have required eight seperate cables if individual two stations manifolds were selected. However, the customer required a consolidated solution that cleaned all that up. We don’t just sell catalog commodities. Our customers utilize NEFF Automation as an extension of their engineering to optimize their applications with designed solutions that meet their requirements.
