#MABAS at Work: Massive fire destroys building in downtown Lincoln. Departments from Divisions 51, 36, and 48 responded to a large fire in the City of Lincoln today. Ladder Trucks from Lincoln (51), Lincoln Rural (51), Decatur (36), Sherman (48), and many other communities responded to assist. Departments from Logan, Menard, Sangamon, DeWitt, McLean, and Macon counties responded. Mutual aid at its best. The following departments assisted: Armington Fire, Atlanta FPD, Beason FPD, Elkhart FPD, Emden FPD, Hartsburg FPD, Latham FPD, Middletown FPD, Mt Pulaski FPD, New Holland FPD, Warrensburg FPD, Hickory Point FPD, Athens FPD, Riverton FPD, Williamsville FPD, Buffalo FPD, and Mechanicsburg FPD. #MutualAid

The Division 33 team is one of 16 Water Rescue Teams available for statewide mutual aid in Illinois. This week an Urban Search & Rescue Logistics Course was held at the MABAS Readiness Center in Wheeling, Illinois.?Logistics Specialists from Illinois Task Force 1 (IL-TF1), Illinois Water Rescue 1 (IL-WR 1), Kentucky, Minnesota and Wisconsin participated in the course conducted by Texas A&M Engineering Extension Services (TEEX).?This training is required for logistics specialists to meet qualifications for their position. #MABAS #SUSAR #TEEX #Training #Logistics
