Rooted in a deep love of music, the arts, and the community around us, M3F was founded with a mission to give back. The idea was simple; two thousand fans, hundreds of lawn chairs, one stage, and 100% of proceeds directly to charity. Eighteen years later we still operate under the same guiding principles, but we have surely grown! In 2020, we hosted 25,000 people over three days, donated $600,000 (over 3.2M since our inception), and continue to host an eclectic lineup of world class artists. Rosie’s House is all about giving young artists the chance to thrive! Starting with just 15 students, they've grown into a thriving center, now serving 650 students with over 600 instruments loaned and providing 27,000 free lessons! Not only that but students are also provided with the resources they need for success. Last year, 93 students performed in the community, 7,000+ free healthy meals were served, and 250 hours of homework help were provided – all to support young musicians in every way possible. M3F is honored to support Rosie's House and their incredible work in shaping the next generation of musicians. Hospice of the Valley is redefining end-of-life care with compassion and dignity. Their mission goes beyond providing comfort—they’re dedicated to enhancing quality of life for patients and their families, no matter the challenges. Providing a continuum of care in the comfort of home, @hospiceofthevalleyaz offers supportive care for chronic illness, including all stages of dementia, as well as hospice care and grief support. Additionally, many specialized programs are available to ensure quality of life. One way they enrich lives is with music. It has an almost magical power to bring smiles and comfort. We recently visited a Joyful Jams class at Hospice of the Valley’s Dementia Care and Education Campus to see for ourselves!
