Congratulations to Cx Therapeutics, Inc. on receiving a $2.35 million Phase II SBIR grant from the The National Institutes of Health! They are developing a novel medical device specifically designed to treat a pregnancy complication called cervical insufficiency. Patients with cervical insufficiency experience preterm birth, which can lead to long-term complications for the newborn.
