The brand-new Agawam Police Headquarters on Suffield Street is coming along nicely. The new 18,756-square-foot station will be state-of-the-art with a sally port, four dispatch stations, locker rooms, large evidence room, space for storage, holding area, and an information technology room. At JQA House, DAS set the new generator on the roof with help from our friends at Central Mass Crane Service and M. L. Schmitt, Inc.. This is the 2nd of two generator picks that have occurred during school breaks. At 24 stories, this was quite the pick!

The AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust (HIT) is happy to provide a photo update on the $97.5 million initial phase of the redevelopment of the Curtis Apartments in Worcester, MA after a few months of construction. Originally built in 1950, Curtis Apartments offered affordable housing for veterans returning from World War II. 75 years later, the HIT is providing financing to deliver updated and additional affordable housing to area residents.
