At #ECOC2024 last week, OIF members collaborated to showcase OIF’s CEI-112G-Linear & CEI-224G Interoperability work. The multi-vendor interop demo highlighted the progress in 224Gbps and 112Gbps CEI interfaces across diverse applications, forming the backbone of next-gen optical connectivity. The CEI-224G demo featured a variety of link types from Very Short Reach (VSR) to Long Reach (LR), while the CEI-112G demo showcased the extensive interoperability of linear pluggable optics.
