    Last week, Lynk. had the honor of participating in the Emblaze Digital Now Revenue Summit in Schaumburg, Illinois, where we immersed ourselves in the wisdom of world-renowned sales leaders and thinkers. The journey to this event was as remarkable as the conference itself. My connection with Roger J Fuhrman on LinkedIn over a mutual interest led to a recommendation to attend Emblaze, highlighting its potential value for us. Following a warm and insightful conversation with Ashley A. Gagliano, the decision was made: we were heading to Chicago, IL. From the outset, the summit proved invaluable. As a Founder, it's easy to become engrossed in problem-solving and navigating challenges, feeling isolated in the endeavor. However, being amongst peers, sharing similar, if not more daunting challenges, and learning from their approaches was both invigorating and enlightening. It fostered a sense of unity and offered a fresh perspective on our own challenges.     In just a few days Lynk. will be headed to Las Vegas for #Transform2024 and we couldn't be more thrilled! We're excited for the opportunity to engage with some of the greatest minds in HR, meet fellow Founders building innovative companies, and learn how leaders are thinking about the #FutureofWork. Our primary focus at Transform will be to understand how leaders worldwide are nurturing engagement within their flexible work environments (remote, hybrid, and distributed), while also identifying areas for improvement. Topics of interest for us are: ? Creating meaningful connections: Exploring how leaders are fostering genuine connections among team members, regardless of their physical location. ? Building cross-functional relationships: Understanding how organizations cultivate collaboration and synergy across diverse teams operating in different settings. ? Fostering trust: Understanding how organizations establish and maintain trust within remote and hybrid work setups. ? Driving inclusion: Examining approaches to ensure that every team member feels valued and included, irrespective of their work arrangement. ? Mentorship: Exploring the role of mentorship in supporting professional growth and development within flexible work environments, and understanding how organizations can facilitate mentorship opportunities across distributed teams. Bridging the gap between remote and on-site employee experiences presents its challenges, and we're keen to uncover insights that will empower us to make a significant impact in this domain. My name is Jeffrey Emile, and I am the Founder and CEO of Lynk., a Future of Work employee engagement & retention startup focused on bridging the gap between remote and local employee experiences. The pandemic caused a universal shift in how many of us work and left organizations with no choice but to rethink their People strategy from the ground up Flexible work arrangements have allowed many of us to regain time lost in commuting, given organizations access to larger talent pools, and created opportunities for many to be more present in their family and home life Despite the many advantages provided to both employees and companies, a new challenge has emerged – The intrinsic need for human connection, trust, and belonging in the workplace While no one wants to return to unnecessary traffic commutes and hold onto the many advantages afforded by flexible work, people also want to build informal connections, trust, gain access to mentorship, and feel connected to their teams, leaders, and company Over the past year, I’ve had the honor of building new relationships with many of you who have shared how you've been navigating this new world of work Some of the questions that have repeatedly come up are: 1. How do we help distributed teams build trust among themselves and with their managers? 2. How do we create an inclusive workplace that promotes psychological safety? 3. How do we empower our managers to create opportunities for connection without it becoming a burden? 4. How do we nurture informal connections? 5. How can we help people find the right mentors? 6. How do we measure that we’re doing this right? After many conversations, we learned that this was not an isolated problem but one affecting the vast majority of businesses everywhere Shortly after, our team began exploring how we could use technology as a tool to solve this problem I’m proud to share that we have identified a unique way to bridge the gap between remote and local employee experiences and help create better-connected workplaces through a combination of leveraging AI, data, and micro-experiences. We have already begun testing with various teams and have seen positive results. High-performing teams don’t happen by chance, and while there is still much to be learned, we’re excited about the possibilities ahead. -- This brings me to my request: I am looking to connect with as many Workplace Experience Leaders, People Operation Leaders, CHROs, COOs, Chief Digital Officers, and Employee Engagement & Experience Leaders who are actively working to solve this challenge and are exploring solutions for their distributed and remote workforces/teams.
