March 15th is the due date for s corporations and partnerships, April 15th is the due date for c corporations, individuals, and trusts and May 15th is the due date for tax exempt organizations. Taxpayers can request an extension to file. This results in the extended due dates of Sept. 15th, Sept. 30th, Oct. 15th. and Nov 15th. Taxpayers with fiscal years not using calendar years have different due dates. Tax season never ends.
