After a three year journey, Prison Doctor: Avenger of Blood by A Mississippi with Lisa Dobry was released Feb 17th. It's been no small undertaking getting this baby birthed and I"ll have to admit it is a little uncomfortable having a part of you exposed to the world. But today I got to feel the joy of our work as authors being well received. About a week ago, I got a message from one of our Launch Team's Early Readers saying although she hadn't been able to read the book in time for our launch she has "81 pages to go and she can't put it down!" I went to yoga this morning and so did she. After class she introduced me as the coauthor and began describing the essence of the book with detail and excitement to two of her friends and said she will be presenting it to her book club as a must read.
