Hi, we are LUNAESCENT! ? WHO: LUNAESCENT was founded to solve a common problem. The young son of our founder, Raana, had eczema which required steroid cream treatments. In applying these treatments, Raana developed reactions on her own fingers, struggled with latex gloves, and found silicone brushes ineffective and inefficient. These frustrations sparked a 'Eureka' moment leading to LUNAESCENT’S invention. ? WHAT: LUNAESCENT is a patent-pending touch-free beauty tool that is designed for hygienic and efficient application of any type of skincare products without using fingers. Each applicator comes with two high-grade silicone pads. One pad is smooth for application of skincare and the other is textured for massaging and depuffing. Both pads can be heated or cooled for comfort, better absorption, and more effective massage. ? WHY: LUNAESCENT is a versatile and multipurpose beauty tool designed to gently apply skincare products without the waste and the contamination that results from using our fingers. LUNAESCENT is an applicator and massager in one handy, lightweight, long-lasting, and easy to use/clean tool. It is designed to provide a more hygienic and well-shaped alternative to common beauty tools such as gua sha and jade rollers (stone tools are porous, unhygienic, unsuited for hard-to-reach areas, and cannot be warmed or cooled). Additionally, with more people seeking skincare treatments such as dermaplaning, laser resurfacing, and chemical peels, there is increasing demand for safe and hygienic post-treatment care.
