Our friends at The diaTribe Foundation will on October 10 launch an awesome campaign to use comedy to break down diabetes stigma and push back against harmful stereotypes. For those of us touched by diabetes, it can be hard to find comedy and laughter, so I applaud Jim Carroll and the amazing team for bringing some joy back. Spoonful of Laughter is an initiative focused on educating people about diabetes, cheekily correcting stereotypes, increasing familiarity over fear, and encouraging curiosity over judgment.
