While I haven't been to the Meow Wolf exhibit referenced in this article, I just went to the one at Grapevine Mills mall in Grapevine, TX and it blew me away! There is really no way to put into words what the experience even is so I won't try! You just have to see it for yourself. Go with a group of friends or family so that you can bounce ideas off one another as you move through the space and react to the amazing and clever creativity and art that you encounter. John Yancey renderings and sketches definitely have a (beautiful) tell-tale hand. What's always remarkable to me is the architectural designs that he creates for early concept illustrations. From rectangles on a site plan, he designs buildings with details and ambiance, layers of interest and action and brings energy and life into the scene. Amazing work and great article, my friend!
