Our latest project, WOLFIRE, has been featured in the Q3 print edition of Kidscreen magazine! Wolfire is an exciting new anime-style adventure series that brings the intensity of high-level sports to a kid-centric narrative. In the show, a pack of red wolves trains a team of fourth-graders for a soccer championship which features other animal-trained teams from around the world. We’re targeting kids ages 8 to 10 and gearing up for a fall 2025 release. We're actively looking for co-production partners, financing, and key talent. We continue to produce original concepts for families everywhere, and Wolfire is no different. We recognize that sports is a growing genre in children's media, and we envision significant sponsorship opportunities with prominent brands. Kids have diverse ways of enjoying sports, and Wolfire will resonate with the athletic spirit within each of them! Read a snippet from the article below and keep an eye out for future updates about the show.

Climate change and its impact on Earth constitute significant themes in many of our narratives, and they represent an urgent concern for families and communities both today and in the future. According to NASA's Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change: "The magnitude and rate of climate change and associated risks depend strongly on near-term mitigation and adaptation actions, and projected adverse impacts and related losses and damages escalate with every increment of global warming." Droughts, wildfires, extreme rainfall, shifts in plant and animal habitats, and melting glaciers are occurring at a swifter pace than scientists previously anticipated. Despite being the largest global emissions initiative, the UN Paris Agreement is struggling to achieve its 2030 goal of a 45% reduction in emissions and is at risk of not attaining its long-term objective of achieving zero net emissions by 2050. According to Climate.gov, 2023 marked the warmest year since global records began in 1850. However, all hope is not lost! If today's youth grasp the significance of climate change and realize their capacity to effect change, we can mitigate its progress for the better. Recently launched by the Aspen Institute, the Nature Conservancy, and Planet Media, This Is Planet Ed (https://lnkd.in/ery7gk52) is a website dedicated to empowering children to address climate change. Its inaugural video, "This is Cooler" serves as an invigorating call to action, equipped with tools for family discussions. Furthermore, we are in the process of developing two projects, "Otter Madness" and "Jelly Smack", which delve into climate change issues using adorable characters and engaging narratives designed to inspire children to develop a profound appreciation for the natural world. The media industry holds a crucial role in maintaining environmental concerns as a priority in development agendas, as we possess the ability to ignite hope, dreams, and transformative change. Join us in celebrating today and exploring new avenues to cherish the world around us. Spring has arrived! ...and we're developing an adorable story inspired by Otter 841, who lives in the Monterey Bay. Tagged and monitored by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, she is an international sensation, attracting thousands to the California coastline. It all started when she disrupted a gaggle of surfers and turned one of their boards into an afternoon snack. She was so successful in eluding the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service that they decided not to capture her.?Now, she’s training her pup, Otter 841+1, to dive and dodge, too! Congratulations to all the Short Films Animation Oscar nominees and "War is Over! Inspired by the Music of John and Yoko", the winner of this year's category! The poignancy of each film and the visual experimentation across all films is truly inspiring. We've added stills below to give you a sense of each film's visual style and links to "making of" videos that walk through each film's unique production process. Some films were very intentional about their initial design and others developed a look and feel through the production process. All films tackled challenging life issues like the aging process, how uniforms impact our identity, and generational trauma. We've also provided links to streams and/or viewings for each film. The teams behind each film did an amazing job of staying true to an independent vision that, in the end, provides us a fresh, new perspective on issues that are challenging to communicate without art. How did we come up with the name "Luminous Blue"? There are a lot of great studios with the color blue in their name - "Blue Sky", "Blue, Dream", "Big Blue", "Blue Cat", "Blue Arc" - and the monster kids and family franchise "Bluey"! But the name has a more specific origin for us. There is a space phenomenon called "Luminous Blue Variables", which are rare, massively evolved, supergiant stars. They are unusual supernovas with a high degree of variability and unparalleled luminosity. Some of the most exciting ones in the Milky Way are Eta Carinae, AG Carinae, and HD 168607. Randy created a few images in the blogpost of what they look like in space. When we formed our studio, we knew it would not be easy. We launched an independent, original animation studio, using new approaches to the animation pipeline, during an extremely challenging business climate. So we needed something really massive and beautiful to light the way and keep us going. The luminous blue variable is a seemingly impossible phenomena that is, in fact, real, and it radiates a supernova of inspiration. It is our hope that everything we create, inspires you to experience something totally new in surprising and exciting ways.
