Are your clients facing rising healthcare costs and an empty void of data from their carrier? That’s a perfect storm for financial disaster. At Luminare Health, we pride ourselves on being flexible enough to find the solutions our clients need, with the agility to provide the data and analytics they need for managing their employee benefits. We help to make the transition to employer-funded benefits as smooth and seamless as possible for our clients, and we’ve had lots of experience helping employers make the switch. We recently helped the Community Health Center of Southeast Kansas transition to self-funded benefits, because their carrier just wasn’t getting the job done. “Each year, our costs would increase, and we weren’t receiving any data to manage our plan. We’re a data-driven organization, and we wanted to better address our patient populations and be more informed with what was going on with claims.” – CHC/SEK’s Vice President of HR We provide the service excellence that was missing from their benefits administration, the compassion their members need, and the data CHC/SEK needs to reach their business goals. Wonder what we can do for your clients? Let’s connect and find out together. More: https://bit.ly/3ObfFuM #EmployeeBenefits #SelfFunding #BenefitsAdministration #EmployerSolutions #BenefitsBrokers

This Native American Heritage Month, we're proud to partner with Tribal organizations to enhance access to care and provide innovative solutions for tribal members. For years, these communities have been underserved, and we're here to change that. By addressing conditions like diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and mental health challenges, we’re working to improve the overall well-being of tribal members. Our collaboration with telehealth providers helps expand mental and behavioral health resources, meeting tribes where they are. We take a flexible, tribe-first approach, working closely with each tribe to understand their unique needs and build on what’s already working. Our goal is to bring solutions that truly fit the diverse ecosystems of tribal communities, delivering service excellence for the tribes and their members. We’re excited to continue this journey and support tribes in gaining access to the care they deserve. #NativeAmericanHeritageMonth #SocialDeterminantsOfHealth #HealthEquity #TribalHealthcare #Telehealth #InnovativeCare #EmployeeBenefits #ServiceExcellence

Meet Clark, Theo, Joyce, and Maya. While their names are changed to protect privacy, they represent real members who required substantial care to thrive. Thanks to our case managers, they received the right care, saving tens of thousands of dollars in the process. * Clark faced high-risk colorectal surgery. After a thorough review, his team determined surgery wasn’t in his best interest, sparing him unnecessary pain and costs. * Theo, born with special needs, received support for two skilled nurse visits each day, providing vital care. * Joyce suffered a perforated bowel after a routine colonoscopy. Her case manager helped her recover without the need for surgery or hospitalization. * Maya, diagnosed with a spinal disorder, needed surgery to prevent neurological damage. Her case manager uncovered an additional diagnosis, connected her with the right pediatric surgeon, and provided ongoing care education. Together, these cases saved over $160,000 while improving the lives of these members. Curious how we can help your clients and their members? Let’s connect. Switching to paperless open enrollment can save employers and employees time, reduce errors, and streamline benefits management. Here’s why making the move away from paper forms is a smart choice: 1. Fewer Errors Paper forms are prone to mistakes—whether it’s due to typos, hard-to-read handwriting, or misplaced documents. Digital enrollment eliminates these issues by allowing employees to enter data directly, which minimizes manual data entry and decreases the chance of error. 2. Faster Processing With paperless enrollment, there’s no need for HR teams to manually enter each form into the system. Automating the enrollment process speeds things up and saves on administrative costs. Digital submissions reach vendors instantly, reducing wait times and improving overall efficiency. 3. Easier for Employees Paperless systems empower employees to review, update, and confirm their benefits choices directly. This accessibility not only simplifies the process for employees but also allows HR teams to focus on other priorities, rather than handling individual updates. 4. Compatibility with Vendors Many vendors, such as pharmacy benefit managers, now require digital submissions. Paperless enrollment makes it possible for that benefits data to be accurately and quickly shared with necessary partners, avoiding delays and meeting vendor requirements with ease. 5. Scalability and Flexibility With a growing team or changing benefits, printed forms quickly become outdated. A digital system adapts to changes instantly—whether adding new benefit options or expanding coverage for a larger workforce. Want to simplify open enrollment and improve accuracy? The holiday season is a time of celebration, but it can also bring stress, anxiety, and other mental health challenges. We offer a powerful suite of resources for mental health, and we’re committed to helping employees access affordable, high-quality mental health care and support year-round. Here are a few of our mental health solutions available to support employees during the holidays and beyond: 1. Virtual Primary and Mental Health Care We can help employers build plans which offer virtual primary care and mental health support as part of a holistic care solution. These services are typically accessible from a convenient digital platform and provide employees with on-demand support, along with a Care Team to help guide them through each step of their care. 2. Telemedicine Solutions with Mental Health Support For several years now, telemedicine has become a fact of life for members, and many employers offer their employees options that include virtual primary care and mental health services. These plans allow employees to connect with a primary care provider from home and only require in-person visits if specialist care is needed. Concierge-level support can also be available to coordinate appointments and provide for seamless access to care. 3. Employee Assistance Programs (EAPs) EAPs are evolving to provide integrated behavioral health support for concerns such as anxiety, grief, substance use, and stress management. These programs offer continuous support to provide employees with help when they need it most. Supporting mental wellness helps improve the lives of everyone in the workplace. This season, let’s work together to create a culture that prioritizes mental health and well-being. https://lnkd.in/gHTq22H3 #MentalHealth #EmployeeWellness #HolidayWellness #EmployeeBenefits

On Veterans Day, we pause to honor the courageous men and women who have served our country across generations. Their sacrifices – whether on distant battlefields or here at home – have upheld our freedoms, strengthened our communities, and secured a safer world for us all. Today, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to all veterans, whose service has made a profound difference. We’re especially thankful for the veterans we have the privilege of working with every day – including our clients, brokers, and the members we serve, as well as the veterans among our own team. Each has brought invaluable experience, commitment, and resilience to our company and community, enriching us all. As we honor their service, let us also remember the importance of supporting veterans long after they return home. At our company, we’re committed to helping ensure veterans and their families have access to the benefits and resources they deserve, including health care, mental health support, and career opportunities. To all veterans: thank you for your dedication and sacrifices. We’re proud to stand beside you as a partner and ally. And to the families of veterans, thank you for your steadfast support and resilience. Today and every day, we honor you. #VeteransDay #ThankYouVeterans #Gratitude #SupportingVeterans

With year-end approaching, it's time for employees to make the most of their Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs). Here are three strategies to promote year-end FSA engagement: 1. Encourage Spending on Eligible Expenses: Remind clients’ employees to review their remaining balances and spend on eligible items before the “use-it-or-lose-it” deadline. Common expenses like prescriptions, medical equipment, or even eyeglasses can be a good way to utilize these funds. 2. Promote Preventive Care Appointments: FSAs cover many out-of-pocket costs for health check-ups, dental cleanings, and wellness visits. Suggest that employees use these accounts to prioritize preventive care while they still have funds available. 3. Review Rollover or Grace Period Options: Depending on the FSA plan, some employees may have a rollover option or grace period. Brokers can help clients understand their options and communicate any plan-specific deadlines to maximize FSA usage. As an #EmployeeBenefits administrator, we can help employers with these efforts by providing resources and tools to help employees track and make informed spending decisions and improve #Utilization before year-end. #FSA #YearEndPlanning #BrokerTips #EmployeeWellness
