What began as a modest 500 ft2 kiosk in North Miami Beach has blossomed into a global leader in modern and contemporary design. For 50 years, Luminaire has shaped the design world by creating spaces that inspire, educate, and innovate. Luminaire flagship showroom?in Coral Gables, revealing the bewitching power of crystalline forms, “The Scent of Glass” featured a stunning installation from the masters of glass Santambrogiomilano will also be on view through March of 2025. Guests uncovered the magic of glass through unexpected structures like a completely transparent billiard and ping pong table, highlighting the durability and mesmerizing command of that which is translucent yet masterfully crafted. At Design District, Luminaire Lab uncovered iconic collaborations from MDF Italia with Sn?hetta in the form of the Array Sofa, to the avant-garde works of Sabine Marcelis for Acerbis Design, our journey has been one of transformation — not just in design, but in the way we connect people to the power of good design. This year, during Design Miami, we celebrated this milestone alongside Interni, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter. As we look back on a half-century of design excellence, we celebrate not just products, but transformative ideas. Join us through December in celebrating 50 years of visual poetry, rigorous materiality, and thought-provoking concepts. Together with Interni.online, Luminaire continues to be an esplanade of curiosity, where pioneering aesthetics meet emotional resonance.
