This March, Lumibility is proud to celebrate Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month (DDAM). This year’s theme from the National Association of Councils on Developmental Disabilities is?“We’re Here All Year”, which highlights the importance of recognizing and championing inclusion, accessibility, and opportunities for people with developmental disabilities—every day, not just in March. For more information on how to get involved and support Developmental Disabilities Awareness Month and the 'We're Here All Year' campaign, visit www.nacdd.org/DDAM2025 #WeReHereAllYear #NACDD #DDAwareness #Lumibility #DisabilityAwareness?

? After more than a decade of underfunding and federal funding in doubt, our communities are in crisis. Connecticut nonprofits and the people who depend on them are facing uncertainty and it is?important that state government protect our most vulnerable residents. ? Community-based nonprofits contract with the state to provide a wide range of behavioral, developmental, community justice, shelter and other human services to thousands of people across the state every day.? ? The General Assembly and the Governor have approved some increases in recent years, but after two decades of underfunding, nonprofits today have 30 percent less buying power than they did in 2007. ? This year, nonprofits are seeking a $264 million increase for FY26 and we need your help. Please like and share. ? ? ?

At Lumibility, we believe that serving on a board empowers local nonprofits and strengthens our communities. We’re proud to sponsor the New Haven SEAT Essentials Program, presented by the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce Nonprofit Resource Council and Whittlesey. This initiative expands board leadership opportunities and fosters inclusive, dynamic leadership. This program equips nonprofits with diverse perspectives and skills to amplify their impact in the New Haven area. Join us in supporting the growth of our local community! #nonprofit #greaternewhaven
