Lumena closed 2024 with a record-breaking milestone: over 200% year-over-year growth. This success was driven by the company’s sales across the U.S. Air Force, including Lumena’s first command-wide contract with the U.S. Air Force Global Strike Command. As Lumena sets its sights on 2025, the company is gearing up for major expansions: > Breaking into the Navy: MindGym will make its debut at the?2025 Sea, Air, and Space Conference?– presenting our solution in support of the Warrior Toughness program. > Introducing MindGym to Commercial Aviation: At the?World Aviation Training Summit (WATS) 2025, Lumena will showcase how its innovative solutions enhance safety and resilience for flight crews. > Advancing research and innovation: Lumena completed its Phase I Small Business Technology Transfer (STTR) study in 2024 and is preparing to apply for Phase II. This next phase will integrate AI, machine learning, and predictive analytics to further personalize interventions and optimize the technology’s impact. There's more than weight racks and treadmills at McGuire Fitness Center U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center's Brig. Gen. Stephen P. Snelson visited the center to try out the state-of-the-art MindGym. MindGym is a 7-foot-tall, isolated mediation cube filled with mirrors and lights creating an immersive experience. Individuals sit in the cube and use a headset to listen to their choice of 10-20 minute programs designed by certified mental health professionals. "The MindGym is an innovative new way to bolster your resilience skills here on JB MDL. Having used it, I know it can be a little intimidating, but it can be very engaging or relaxing depending on what your needs are. I encourage anyone who wants a little boost in their focus or a little help reducing their stress to come out and try it," Snelson said. "This capability is open to anyone with access to the McGuire Fitness Center (all branches, civilians, family members) and is available 24/7 with gym access. You give your mind and body to the mission; its time you give back to yourself!" Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst 87FSS JB MDL Integrated Prevention & Resilience Office #Resilience #MentalHealth

?? Kirtland AFB celebrated the grand opening of MindGym, a cutting-edge training facility designed to enhance mental performance. Colonel Michael Power, 377th Air Base Wing and Installation commander, highlighted the importance of innovation in preparing military personnel for today’s operational challenges. MindGym, developed by Lumena Labs, provides an immersive environment that combines isolation, light, sound, and reflection to promote mental readiness. It builds on research conducted at other Air Force bases and demonstrates measurable improvements in reaction time, accuracy under stress, wellness and mood, and stress reduction.

This past week, Lumena launched MindGym at Kirtland Airforce Base as part of it's roll-out of units across the entire Air Force Global Strike Command. Col. Michael Power, 377th Air Base Wing and Installation commander, said he believes the MindGym is a much-needed addition to Kirtland and he’s excited to see how participants improve from each session. “I think there will be a lot of use with it once we start getting people over here and using it,” Power said. “All of our missions that we do here are high pressure and we’re always trying to make sure we give everyone the right tools to take care of themselves physically, mentally and socially. It’s important to have that balance of mental health so that when we do come to work, we can be totally focused on the job at hand.” - Col.
