关于我们
At LUMA, we’re focused on our clients and a shared vision of great architecture. We design architectural lighting for a broad range of spaces from the traditional to the unique, capturing and expressing space through light. We consciously diversify our experience. This keeps our vision and our ideas fresh, giving us continual insight into new approaches and products. It’s just one of the ways we ensure that our lighting designs are as unique as each of our clients. Our services include lighting design and consultation, daylighting integration, three-dimensional modeling, custom luminaire design, and sustainability-focused design and consulting, LEED documentation services for lighting related credits, peer review services, commissioning of lighting systems, and general services focused on the design and control of architectural illumination. LUMA has provided expertise for numerous energy efficient buildings including over twenty that have achieved or are registered for LEED ratings. Our own offices, which have been awarded a LEED Gold certification, serve as a laboratory for testing alternative lighting and control systems and refining design concepts. Our clients range from large universities and municipalities to small retail boutiques and everything in between. Great lighting design can only happen when great ideas are brought into the light.

"Our concept was to enhance the windows with simple linear lines of light, creating light and shadow in unconventional patterns, similar to the geological patterns the project was inspired by," says Erik Campbell, LUMA Project Manager. Kicking off the weekend at Lakeside at Black Butte Ranch. In designing the pool facility and bistro, Hacker set out to both honor and evolve the Northwest modern aesthetic of Black Butte Ranch. Because of the site’s stunning setting, it was essential that the building be secondary to the landscape — that the architecture serve as an aperture for the site, making connections to the land stronger and more immediate. https://lnkd.in/gJqQkZrt Architecture/Interiors: Hacker Construction: Kirby Nagelhout Construction Company Landscape: Walker Macy MEP: PAE Structural: Madden & Baughman Engineering, Inc Civil: Harper Houf Peterson Righellis Inc. We're honored to announce that the PAE Living Building has won a 2024 COTE (Committee on the Environment) Top Ten Award from The American Institute of Architects (AIA)! The building could not have achieved this distinguished award without the excellent design, teamwork, and dedication of ZGF Architects, along with our additional partners Edlen & Company, Walsh Construction Co., Downtown Development Group, LLC, Apex Real Estate Partners, Biohabitats, and KPFF Consulting Engineers.
