Recognizing and rewarding exceptional postdoctoral researchers in all areas of basic life sciences
关于我们
Life Sciences Research Foundation is an excellent vehicle for anyone wishing to support the best and brightest postdoctoral scholars carrying out basic life science research. Our competitive three-year award program ensures: Quality: A 34-member review committee selects 50 finalists annually from ~800 applicants. Diversity: Our award program is open to applicants internationally in all areas of life sciences. Applicants have diverse backgrounds and a very broad range of research interests. Flexibility: A donor may choose to support a finalist (or finalists) based upon criteria aligned with their own interests or a particular geographic location or allow LSRF to assign the finalist (or finalists) to be supported. Awardees are typically named for the donor. Efficiency: All LSRF leadership officers, board members and peer review committee volunteer their time, serving without compensation. Only 4% of a donor's contribution is used for operating costs. Our Annual Meeting expenses are included in the operating costs. We operate without an endowment or existing pool of funds and must raise funds each year for our selected finalists. Visit our website to learn more about our program and make a contribution.
