Another brilliant result for this fantastic piece of work from Nike, directed by Sam Pilling and produced by Magna Studios, which has been shortlisted for 4 British Arrows Awards this week, including: ? ACHIEVEMENT IN PRODUCTION? ? DIRECTOR -THE FRANK BUDGEN AWARD? ? FASHION & APPAREL? ? PRODUCTION DESIGN A superb result and the icing on the cake for this outstanding commercial, that aired last year ahead of the Euros in June. HARRISON FORD x GLENMORANGIE - ‘Once Upon A Time in Scotland.’ “I’M GOING TO SCOTLAND” Just another average day at the office working with Hollywood legend Harrison Ford, shooting on home turf in Scotland with iconic whisky brand The Glenmorangie Company. What an absolute JOY to be involved in this extraordinary campaign, bringing a fresh new take on whisky advertising, directed by the brilliant actor/director Joel Edgerton and with Harrison Ford on fine form with the films following his increasingly foiled attempts to enjoy a quiet weekend in a Scotland drinking ‘scotch.’ With stills captured by Lachlan Bailey and the motion shoot, filmed over 3 days in rural Ross-shire, Scotland (can you spot the famous castle) these are the first of 6 films alongside other media that landed online yesterday as part of the global campaign launch, and the buzz has already been incredible. We are so proud to have provided production service on this shoot with a 123 of Scotland’s finest crew. Yet another example of the exceptional locations, and talent infrastructure that Scotland offers that is proving so attractive to global production right now. Hats off to the Glenmorangie team for creating an iconic campaign full of humour and warmth. ‘CREATING A RIPPLE EFFECT ACROSS THE INDUSTRY’ - How do you put in place a sustainable travel policy when your entire business revolves around international production and shooting across the globe? Our People and Operations Manager Laura Coulthart recently sat down with the wonderful team at Climate Springboard to talk about how she set about tackling this very challenge and the work that went into implementing a sustainable travel policy for LS Productions. The result of a lot of hard work, this policy forms part of a series of initiatives put in place at LS on our sustainability education journey. Following on from our ESGmark? accreditation in 2024, we are now committed to achieving B Corp certification, in a methodical and achievable fashion, developing industry leading sustainable practices for our business, the production sector and beyond.
