Join Us for a Cause That Matters! This September, we’re excited to support Leeds Project Heart and their incredible initiative “Back in the Bourbs” at Leeds Public House! 50% of the proceeds from our Libation for Donations will go directly to StRides Against Suicide & Overdose, helping them spread vital awareness around suicide and substance abuse in Northwest Indiana. Your support will help fund scholarships for mental health and substance abuse treatment for those who are uninsured or unable to afford the care they need. Together, we can support those in need and continue the fight against suicide and overdose.

We are thrilled to announce StRides annual Bike Ride and 5K Fundraiser is happening this Sunday, August 4th at Rogers Lakewood Park in Valparaiso Indiana! This year, the Head Honchos will be performing live! Don’t forget to bring a folding chair or blanket to enjoy the show. They will have a special guest speaker giving a speech before and after the races. Delicious food from Ken Dawgs will be available for all bikers, runners, and volunteers. Plus, Valpo Velvet will be there selling ice cream, generously donating a portion of their proceeds to the cause. In July we would like to highlight a cause that is dear to our hearts here at LPA Counseling. StRides Against Suicide and Overdose, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing essential mental health and substance abuse care to individuals in Northwest Indiana who are underinsured, uninsured, or unable to afford therapy. Mission: At StRides Against Suicide and Overdose, they believe that everyone deserves access to quality mental health and substance abuse support, regardless of their financial situation. The main goal is to bridge the gap in care and ensure that no one is left without the help they need. What they Do: Provide Access: Offer free or low-cost therapy services to those who cannot afford traditional mental health and substance abuse care. Raise Awareness: Host a StRides against suicide and overdose bike ride and 5k. Fundraisers.
