From executive protection trends to emerging technology in security programs, the summit featured thought-provoking discussions on critical issues shaping the future of risk management. A major highlight was the keynote address from Maj. Gen. (U.S. Army Ret.) Attendees also gained key insights from sessions on security negligence litigation, where case studies illustrated legal considerations in risk mitigation, and emerging security technologies, which highlighted how digital vulnerabilities must be factored into holistic security assessments. We extend our gratitude to the event organizers, speakers, and our fellow sponsors, including Pinkerton, Marksman/Titan Security Services, Protos Security, Prosegur Security, 360Privacy, Prime Secured, and Genetec. What many recognize as "Presidents’ Day" was originally established to honor George Washington’s birthday. In 1879, Congress designated February 22nd as a federal holiday to celebrate the first U.S. president’s leadership and legacy. Over time, the holiday evolved. In 1971, the Uniform Monday Holiday Act moved it to the third Monday in February, creating a long weekend. Many states broadened its meaning to honor both Washington and Lincoln, while others see it as a day to reflect on all U.S. presidents and their lasting impact. At Lowers Risk Group, we understand that strong leadership—past and present—shapes resilience, strategy, and progress. We partner with business leaders across industries to help them navigate risk, security, and compliance, ensuring they can lead with confidence in an increasingly complex world. Today, we reflect on leadership, innovation, and the values that drive us forward. We hope everyone enjoys a well-deserved break and takes a moment to appreciate the spirit of progress that this day represents. Happy Presidents' Day to our U.S. clients and colleagues???? #PresidentsDay #Leadership #RiskManagement #LowersRiskGroup
