Congratulations to Lenny Dodge on receiving the TULIP Award at Lowell General Hospital. Lenny, an ICU-Ground tech, was nominated for his outstanding care of a patient with a severe brain injury. Despite the patient's inability to communicate, Lenny formed a heartwarming relationship, ensuring his dignity and well-being. He provided daily care, encouragement, and even took the patient to the Healing Garden on the grounds to enjoy fresh air and sunshine. Lenny's dedication exemplifies the TULIP Award. Congratulations to Lowell General Hospital’s DAISY Award honoree Chelsea Lynch, RN, ICU! Chelsea’s nomination highlighted her incredible sense of compassion. As her patient was in their final days of life, Chelsea’s ability to provide comfort, support and care for a group of family and friends did not go unnoticed.
