Hey everyone! I’m Henry Ahn, Growth Intern at LOVO AI, taking over to share some insights as part of the team this summer! As someone who regularly used LOVO AI in the past, being able to contribute behind the scenes was a super unique opportunity. Over the last 10 weeks, I designed and implemented a roadmap for brand awareness, with the goal of increasing paid conversions across our 2 million active users. But before I expand on that, here’s a few things about me: ?? l'm big on movie theaters, and still pay nearly $20 to see movies in person. ?? I have a mini goldendoodle named Colton that’s been waiting all summer for my return (I hope). ?? I’ve swam in every ocean except one. Can you guess which? Now that we’re better accquainted, I want to share some lessons I’ve learned as a Growth Intern: ??♂? Customer feedback is invaluable Since our customers regularly interact with the front-end of our platform, they are often the first to notice any inefficiencies, as well as the first to ideate a solution. It’s crucial that their feedback is encouraged. ?? Decisiveness beats discussion Prioritizing decisiveness over a circular discussion of alternatives is the key to a streamlined workflow. Even if a decision doesn’t pan out, it will still provide valuable insights that help inform the next steps. ?? Presentation seals the deal Two products can offer the same exact features, but the customer will choose the product that is more favorably presented. Brand image and product positioning are just as important as building a functional product. Alright, I’ve done enough rambling so I’ll wrap it up here. Hey everyone! I’m Jangwon Bang, Chief Product Officer at LOVO AI, taking over to share some thoughts from leading our product team! As the CPO, I’m responsible for setting product direction and strategy based on insights from market, customer, and product data. These insights drive conversations that influence our decision-making throughout the product roadmap, ultimately for the purpose of launching a product our customers truly value. But before I expand on that, here’s a few things about me: ?? I ran the torch relay for the Winter Olympics. ?? My favorite wine is Chardonnay. ?? I am a certified scuba diver. ?? I once went out to give a speech and fell in front of the whole school. Now that we’re better accquainted, I want to share some valuable lessons I’ve learned in my role (without falling): ?? Funtionality beats glamour Think about making a product that’s actually useful to the user rather than one that’s too shiny. ?? Be decisive No decision is perfect. Don’t spend time thinking about all the alternatives. Just make a decision and learn as quickly as you can from it. ?? Play the long game A good goal, coupled with consistent effort, makes a genuine difference. Never underestimate what you can achieve long-term.
