Four years; almost five thousand Technovation girls across five continents, and countless moments of inspiration and impact —thanks to the partnership of ServiceNow. They’ve stood by us, as funders, co-designers, partners and believers in the power of young women to transform the world through AI. Many innovations have unfolded through this partnership. In India, a team created NrityaTracker, a project that uses computer vision to provide feedback to Kathak dancers, keeping cultural heritage alive in the age of AI. In Nigeria, five girls built MindUp, an AI-powered app that provides mental health resources and virtual support for Gen Z youth, addressing the need for accessible mental health care. And in Chile, the Prometea team developed an app connecting people with safe housing, job training, and community support, bridging gaps for those most in need. These projects aren’t just about AI innovation —they’re about resilience, creativity, and the drive to improve the societies we live in. We would not be here today without ServiceNow’s support during COVID, and we would not be leading the work on AI & Gender worldwide, without their foundational support of The AI Forward Alliance. Amidst the hustle and bustle of our professional and academic lives, it's easy to get caught up in the race for personal achievement. But let's not forget the importance of giving back. At LoveTech, we believe in the power of community engagement. It's not just about climbing the career ladder; it's also about extending a helping hand to those around us. ?? This past summer, several LoveTech members had the privilege of organizing coding classes at both Boston Public Library and Concord Public Library. We had the incredible opportunity to guide elementary and middle school-aged children through their first steps in web development using HTML and CSS. The enthusiasm and creativity these young minds displayed were truly inspiring. Some even expressed interest in joining LoveTech in the future! By nurturing the next generation of talent, we not only contribute to our communities but also hone our own skills in simplifying complex concepts.
